Nina MacKenzie

National Policy Advisor

Nina is an active social justice advocate with extensive experience leading and influencing policy across the not for profit and government sectors in Australia and overseas.

Her work now focuses on collaborating with people across the life of the Church to develop policy and resources to support the Church in living its commitment to be a safe church for all people.

Nina developed whole-of-network advocacy and analysis on issues related to services sustainability at Uniting Care Australia. At UnitingCare Queensland, she led a multidisciplinary team responsible for strategy, business development and engagement with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities and culturally and linguistically diverse organisations.

Nina was a UK diplomat, before moving into the not-for-profit sector.
